The St. Francis School Extended Day Program (EDP) is a licensed facility that provides safe and caring before and after school care to meet the needs of families at St. Francis School. Our program is dedicated to providing the students with a nurturing and caring program that is both stimulating and enjoyable. We also reinforce the high values of the school and impart these through example and respectful discipline.
EDP provides morning care from 7am to 8:15am. A light snack is provided, and students may bring their own breakfast. The EDP provides after school care from 3-6pm (2:15pm on Wed), Monday through Friday when school is in regular session. EDP is not open on half days, early-dismissal days or school holidays unless otherwise posted. EDP offers drop-in and regular care. A nutritional snack is provided according to the Washington State DEL Licensing guidelines daily at 3:15pm (2:30pm on Wed).
Registration can be found HERE or on RenWeb under "Web Forms". All forms and the $35.00 registration fee per family must be submitted no later than June 1, 2019 for the first day of school. EDP does offer drop-in care, and the registration needs to be submitted two working days prior to the date your student will begin at EDP. Students are accepted on a first come, first served basis, so please submit your registration early. The EDP Handbook can be found HERE.
EDP fees are *$4.50 per hour.
Program activities include crafts, sports, board games, computer games, air hockey, foosball, group play, quiet play, and free play.
Homework Club is provided for students to complete their homework in a quiet area. 1st-3rd grade is provided in a classroom in the EDP. 4th-8th grade is provided upstairs in classroom 6A. If you are signed up for EDP, then you are already registered for Homework Club. If you would like to register for Homework Club and you are not registered for EDP, you must register online through RenWeb. Please let your student know to stand in the Homework Club line when they enter EDP.
