This Week's Safety Updates: Strengthening Safety at STFOA
The safety of our students, staff, and parish community is always our top priority. Thanks to the incredible support from our recent STFOA Fun Run, sponsored by CYO and the Parent Association, we’re putting some of those funds toward enhancing security at our school.

At times our community will notice the presence of more security measures in response to community feedback, increased foot traffic near campus, and broader school safety concerns nationwide. Specifically, we are partnering with the King County Officers Guild to have a marked, armed patrol car at Mass and events.

This is a preventative measure—a consistent, visible presence that helps deter unwanted activity and reinforces that STFOA is a safe, protected place for our children to gather in faith and learn.

Officers will arrive early to check in, walk the perimeter, and remain onsite during Mass with a school radio for direct communication. They’ll be our extra set of eyes and ears, engaging only if a situation requires it.

Our teachers will also talk with students in a reassuring way, helping them understand that the officer’s presence is part of how we care for and protect our community.

We’re proud to take these proactive steps to keep STFOA a safe, faith-filled environment for every student and family.
