In An Emergency

WHAT FAMILIES SHOULD KNOW TO KEEP IN TOUCH:

  1. Keep your family contact information and emergency contacts up-to-date.  Contact the school office if there is any change or updates to your address, phone number, email or emergency contact/pick up list.
  2. Bookmark the school website, subscribe to our school calendar, and follow us on Facebook at @StFrancisofAssisiSea and Instagram at @stfrancisofassisisea.

 

 

IN THE CASE OF AN EMERGENCY:

 

St. Francis of Assisi School may close in the event of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen emergencies.  Should the principal determine to delay the opening of school or close early, the school will communicate through the following channels:
 
 
 

DURING A SITUATION:

  1. Refer to the Parent text alerts, school emails, and check the school website for updated information and details.  
  2. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL. We will need to keep telephone lines clear for communication with emergency services.
  3. Updates will be sent to parents via the following channels:
      • Text alerts via ParentAlert
      • Emails to parents and guardians
      • Notices on the school website
      • Facebook updates as deemed necessary
  4. If there is a need to come to the school after a disaster to pick up your child(ren), all adults must have IDENTIFICATION (please include those on your emergency contact list in the event you are unable to come to school), and we ask that you maintain a calm and positive attitude in the presence of the students.
