Spring 2026 After School Clubs

Spring Session runs from February 2nd up to May 15th this year for some clubs. All club registrations and payments are ONLINE ONLY. Click on the link in the class description below to register. If you have any questions, please contact Alli and Anne at [email protected].

LEGO Engineering by Play-Well  

K-3rd Grade

                                                                              

Bundle up, we're creating a spectacular Winter Wonderland! Build bobsleds, design snowmobiles, and take
a ride on the Polar Express. Explore your snowiest ideas and learn STEM concepts with tens of thousands
of LEGO® pieces at your mitten-tips and the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.

Yoga by Ashley Wainscott  

K-8th Grade

                                                                              

Help your child unwind, move joyfully, and build confidence with Ashley Wainscott, an experienced and uplifting yoga instructor based in the South Seattle area. After more than a decade of yoga study and teacher training, Ashley brings a fun, playful, and supportive approach to the mat that’s perfect for young learners. Ashley creates a welcoming space where children can explore yoga through creative games, breathwork, gentle stretches, and mindful movement. Her classes are designed to help kids develop flexibility, focus, self-awareness, and stress-relief — all while having a great time!
 
No prior experience required. Please have your kids in loose, comfortable clothing (eg. uniform polos and pants). Kids are welcome to change at the beginning of class. Mats will be provided.

CHESS by Chess Wizards

Chess Wizards classes offer fun, interactive programs that teach chess to children of all skill levels, aiming to improve cognitive, emotional, and social development. The curriculum features an adaptive system with beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, incorporating puzzles, tournaments, team games, and prizes to keep lessons engaging. In addition to enhancing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, the program promotes good sportsmanship and provides a safe, supervised environment for children to learn, play, and grow.

KARATE by Northwest School of Karate

Karate is a way of life, designed to push one to grow. Join Sensei Greg Sommers-Herivel, a third degree black belt instructor, for some fun, fitness, discipline, self defense, self respect, and confidence. The class is a supportive environment, where the goal is to always be positive and to teach each other that mistakes are a good thing.  Mistakes lead to growth. 
 
Empowerment for everyone! No prior experience required. Please bring loose, comfortable clothing!

DRAMA by Kathleen Edwards (The HiLiners) 

2nd-8th Grade

 

Drama Club is about playing theatre games that make us laugh and love performing, while also developing essential skills like vocal projection and dynamic self expression! This class is fun for new as well as returning students. While continuing to expand on concepts introduced during the Fall Session, new methods will be introduced.

CODING - SCRATCH GAME DEVELOPMENT by Coding with Kids

3rd-6th Grade

 

Unleash your creativity with Scratch, a fun drag-and-drop coding tool. Learn coding basics like loops and variables if you're new, or explore advanced concepts like functions and game physics if you're returning. Build exciting games, animations, and story projects, like the Greedy Birds!

LEGO ROBOTICS by Patrick Amrine

3rd-7th Grade

 

FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) sparks curiosity and confidence in young minds through hands-on STEM learning, teamwork, and creative problem solving. This spring club is primarily focused on coding/programming of the robots, and is a precursor to the FIRST® LEGO® League competition in the fall. Students that enrolled in the spring will have priority for the next Fall Session. Note that each student must provide their own laptop to code with, using an app through Lego.com.

Kids can be picked up and returned to EDP by instructor as needed.

JUMP ROPE by Rope Works

K-8th Grade

                                                                              

Jump Rope is a highly acclaimed youth Jump Rope program designed by 5 Time World Rope Jumping Champion, Cirque du Soleil performer and motivational speaker, Rene Bibaud. She's is an educator with a special focus on youth fitness and growth mindset. Learn developmentally appropriate jump rope skills in a motivating and encouraging atmosphere; Personal, best effort, patience, practice and goal setting are the key character education pieces of our program that guide our teaching strategies and classroom management.
