Mondays Clay and Pottery Wheel

Discover your inner clay artist

Nothing is more fun than to get your hands muddy with a bunch of your friends. Have fun learning to sculpt with clay and throw on the pottery wheel. The classes will be divided into 2 groups. Group 1 will learn the wheel on day 1. Group 2 will explore the wheel on day 2. This will allow each student to have a wheel for one entire class so they may build their skills and complete a project. When students are not on the wheel they will have independent time to explore clay, drawing, painting or craft projects. The last day of the session isdedicated to finishing up their masterpieces and there will be no pottery wheel time. Students take home their finished work on the last day of the session. These classes are open to all ages. Students will have 5 minutes in the beginning of class for a snack if needed. I offer Goldfish crackers or Cheese Its but students may want to have their own snack. They must have their own water bottles.

We have purchased extra pottery wheels to cover the demand!
