Talent Show 2025 - Permission Form

Our St. Francis Talent Show is fast approaching!

Registrations: due no later than Friday, May 2nd, 2025

Auditions: Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, starting at 2:30PM in Unity Place

Show Date: Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 at 1:30 pm in the school gym

It's always fun to watch all the talent we have at our school and it's a great opportunity for our students to share their talents and skills in a safe and supporting environment! It can be a solo or group performance -- please note the requirements and guidelines below.

Guidelines:

· Parents may not view the try-out.

· We will provide a microphone. All other supplies needed must be supplied by you.

· No lip-syncing.

· Acts must be 3 minutes or less. Music MUST be cut to the duration of your act-we will not edit music or accept late CDs.

· All acts must be appropriate for a Catholic School.

· A parent's signature is required for each member of your act. Parents, please review your child's act.

· If singing, your music must be instrumental.

· Test your music. It MUST be playable on a CD player or computer, NOT an iPod. Please check your music!

· Whether singing or dancing, LYRICS are required and must be submitted with this permission slip or you cannot try-out. They can be uploaded below or emailed to [email protected] no later than Friday, May 2nd, 2025.

* Complete ONE FORM PER STUDENT. If you are performing with a group of students, each student must submit a separate form (please reflect the group details in the description below). No exceptions will be made!

Try-outs will be held after school

Date: Wednesday, May 7th

Time: 2:30-5:30

Place: Unity Place

Students need to be in costume for the try-out, as outfits need to be checked for appropriateness. Children should not be left unattended while they wait for their turn. Please remember that not all acts can make it into the Talent Show. Due to time constraints, it is possible that not all acts will be selected.

This form must be submitted no later than Friday, May 2nd, 2025.
