You ripped a page in a book you borrowed
You found a lost toy on the playground
Someone showed you their artwork, but you can’t tell what it is
You see someone get hurt on the playground
Someone spilled their lunch on their sweater
You see someone struggling to carry a lot of things
2. Make a Kindness Kit so you are ready to help others.  Some ideas of things to include are:
a bandaid, for someone who is injured
a crayon and paper, for someone who needs cheering up
a Hershey hug, for someone who needs a hug
a sticker, for someone who is sad
a tissue, for someone who is sick

We have two assignments today.


For the first assignment, you need 5 different color crayons to color the five different types of prayer on the prayer plate. Petition is the smallest prayer and it is where your glass would go. You can use any colors you choose.  Just draw a line above and below each label so that you don’t color over the label.


The second assignment is to create a plate with the “Grace Before Meals” prayer. 
Use paint or markers to color the outside edges of your plate.
Cut out the Grace Before Meals Prayer
Glue the Prayer into the center of the plate.

Today complete the Religion Worksheet on prayer.

Finish the sentence on the worksheet. “When we pray, ... (you write) we talk to God.

Go ahead and color each of them in the colors of your choice.

Next complete the Trinity Coloring sheet attached below
First Draw the apple in pencil including the peel, flesh, core stem and leaves.
Next color the peel red to represent God the Father
Then color the flesh yellow to represent God the Son
After that, color the core and seeds of the apple brown to represent the Holy Spirit.
Last color the stem brown and the leaves green
There is a coloring sheet with the words of the Sign of the Cross also attached below.  This is useful in helping the kids to learn and understand the meaning behind the Sign of the Cross, which is one of our Kindergarten prayers. We have included a sample, but the students may color the picture in the colors of their choice.

Today’s assignment is to color a person that looks like you.  You will get an outline of a boy or a girl.  Color the hair, eyes and skin to look like yours. Draw clothes to wear.  
God Made You Special, and He chose the color of your hair, your eyes, and skin.  God loves you just the way you are!
