The smooth operation of St. Francis of Assisi’s technology program relies to a great degree upon the proper conduct of the students who must adhere to the following strict guidelines. These guidelines are provided so that you are aware of the responsibilities you are about to assume. In general, these responsibilities require efficient, ethical and legal utilization of the technology resources. Refer to our
St. Francis of Assisi Safe Internet Use Policy for important information.
The purpose of the technology system network at St. Francis of Assisi School is to support education and research consistent with our educational objectives. The use of the technology system is a privilege, not a right, and inappropriate use could result in the cancellation of that privilege.
Each family is required to sign and submit the Technology Use Agreement (linked) by Monday, September 11, 2023 in order for their student(s) to have access to the school network and utilize the school-provided devices if needed.
If your student brings their own device to be used at school, please read these
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Requirements (linked) from our IT Director, regarding the requirements and purchase of equipment.
If your student brings their own device to school and needs access to the school network on that device, parents must complete and submit the
BYOD Technology Use Agreement (linked). This agreement should be submitted as soon as possible, and one (1) form per student.
Your student will not have access to the school network until this BYOD Agreement form is completed.
