After School Clubs

Our Winter 2018 after school clubs begin Monday, Jan. 8th & we are super excited to see the kids enjoying all these options!  If you have any questions, please contact Monika Scoville at monikascoville@yahoo.com.

  After School Clubs Winter 2018
After School Art.  Art camps are coordinated by our art program teacher, Dani Meyers, and meet on Tuesdays.  Students explore using drawing, painting and crafting skills, creating special projects they do not otherwise do during the regular school day.  There are 4 sessions, and themes include canvas painting, sculpture, cartooning, and an open studio.  Please see the sign up flyer found HERE and under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
 
NEW Drawing Atelier.  Multiple sessions will be offered with the first starting this Thursday, Feb. 1st.  These classes are for 3rd-8th grade and are designed for those who love to draw.  Intermediate to advanced techniques in drawing will be taught.  Please see the sign up flyer found HERE and under Students & Parents, Forms & Links
Pokemon Club.  Learn from the best at our STFOA club ... we have one of the nation's best players teaching the kids!  The club meets on Wednesdays in the Art room, and is year-round; students can join or leave on a monthly basis.  Please complete the registration form HERE or under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
Lego Robotics Club.  Our Lego Robotics club is BACK and we are working to create a team of interested students to enter a competition with the FIRST LEGO League next year.  The club meets on Tuesdays beginning January 9th in the Library, and is for grades 6-8th.  Please complete the registration form HERE or under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
Outdoor Nature Club.  LOVE being outside, exploring, free-play and learning outdoor skills?  This club meets on Thursdays at Seahurst Park, and is lead by Kevin "Porcupine" O'Malley of South Sound Nature School.  Class is limited to 15 participants in 1-5th grades, and begins on March 1st.  Please register online via email at www.southsoundnatureschool.org.  For additional information, see the After School Nature program flyer HERE or under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
Gardening Club.  Introducing our NEW gardening club with Farmer Frog -- where we grow our own vegetable garden!  This program is focused on introducing students to the basics of growing food as well as the science and broad knowledge that comes with it.  We'll begin inside at the end of January prepping our seeds, and will move outside as soon as weather permits.  This club is open to K-8th grade students, and will begin on Wednesday, January 31st.  Please complete the registration form HERE or under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
Drama Club.  Thanks to the wonderful Hi-Liners, our students have an opportunity to learn and grow in their performing and communication skills.  This club meets on Wednesdays in Parish Hall, and is open to 2-6th grades.  Please complete the registration form HERE or under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
Tae Kwon Do Club.  Join 4th Degree Black Belt and Master Instructor of TaeKwonDo, Chris Himor, for this Monday afternoon club.  This is open to grades 1-5, and meets in Unity Place.  Please complete the registration form HERE or under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
Hand-Crafting Clubs.  Our great instructor, Anne Davis, is back to teach a variety of crafts that would make great gifts and keepsakes.  Crystals, jewelry, knitting, crocheting and origami are some of the fun experiences offered.  Please check out the registration form HERE for details and dates.  The flyer can also be found under Students & Parents, Forms & LInks.
STEM Learning - Chain Reactions.  Ready, Set, Roll!  See the laws of motion at work in this thrilling, hands-on course provided through Afterschool Enrichment Solutions.  Classes begin on January 18th, and are held on Thursdays in Parish Hall.  Please complete the registration form HERE or under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
Chess Club.  Chess Wizards are back!  Join us for challenging lessons, tournaments, team activities ... beginners are welcome!  This club meets on Tuesdays in Parish hall and is for K-8th grade.  Please complete the registration form HERE or under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
Coding -- Game Development.  TWO levels offered this session!  Beginner/Intermediate will be on Mondays for 2nd-4th grades, and an Intermediate/Advanced club will be on Thursdays for 4th-6th grades.  Please check out the registration form HERE or under Students & Parents, Forms & Links.
