Classroom Policies

Attendance, Preparation, Conduct, and Participation

It is essential that every student has the opportunity to learn in a positive classroom environment.  Students are expected to demonstrate positive behaviors while at school or participating in online distance learning. Positive behavior will lead to positive results.  The following are the expectations of all students:

  • Attendance - Students are expected to attend class regularly, as long as they are in good health, whether class activities are conducted on-site or via distance learning.

  • Be Prepared and Productive - Students should come to class at school or online distance learning with all the supplies and tools typically needed. It is also important that students come to class mentally ready to focus and participate. Students are expected to do their personal best. If students are proactive about learning by asking questions and asking for help when needed, they will have a productive school year.  Keep the lines of communication open.

  • Conduct - Be polite and kind to yourself and others. Use appropriate social skills and show respect to others and their belongings. Keep your supplies and surroundings neat and organized.
