I have been teaching at St. Francis School for 35 years. It is a wonderful place to teach, but more importantly, a place that feels like home. I am looking forward to getting to know your child.
I believe that learning is a magical gift and I love sharing it. For the last twenty years, I have incorporated a Harry Potter theme into my classroom which brings a sense of excitement that students enjoy. It has become known as the "Hogwarts Classroom."
In fifth grade, we use Google Classroom to post assignments and activities that students are responsible for completing. ( Parents have access to this account.) Students will also be writing homework in their assignment notebooks. This is one of the methods we use to build organization and accountability skills.
