Welcome Alumni!

Welcome to our newly renovated Alumni page!

As an alumnus, you are an important, valued part of our school family.  We hope that you will find interesting information about your classmates and about the school as it is today.  This webpage is evolving.  As we have more interesting, updated, current information for our alumns, we will be enhancing this webpage.  We hope to be gathering more and more information that will be of value to you so you will think of us as a resource.  Our current students and families want to know you and see how the education you received at STFOA school has made a difference in your lives.

We hope that you will provide us with information about your life since graduating from STFOA.  A link to our Alumni Update Form is below.  It is a fillable PDF; you just hit the Submit button at the bottom of the form and we get the information – pretty simple!  We do want you to know that we will not be sending this information to anyone.  We will have it available on this page and if we want to use it to tell our community about how proud we are of you, we will let you know!

Alumni Facebook Page

We have an alumni Facebook page that is already in place and just needs Alumni to post to!  You can find it at

Alumni Association

We are working to create a vibrant, active Alumni Association, which cannot come to fruition without Alumni to run it!  Our Development Director, Gena Aiello, will be the liaison to the school for this association so you will have access to the resources needed for your success. Click on this link  to find more information about the Alumni Association and to let us know if you are interested in attending a meeting on formation of the group.

Student Alumni Association

We also want our young Alumni to have an active role in our Alumni Association, but, we know that you are very busy with high school and college and all the hard work and fun times you are having! This is where the Student Alumni Association (SSA) comes into play!

We currently have six students from the Class of 2017 that want to be part of this group.  Our goal is to have representatives from each of our graduating classes that are currently in high school and college to be part of it!  Click here for more information on the Student Alumni Association and what it entails.

Rita Grohman Award

This award is given to students who have the same spirit that was exemplified by Rita Grohman, a former teacher here at St. Francis. Rita was someone who reached out to everyone and treated each person as an equal. When she was around us, she showed her genuine appreciation for being in our presence, but actually it was we who were graced to be with her.

Many of our eighth graders model this kind of behavior, so the choice was a difficult one. However, three students have been chosen for the way they interact with all of their classmates. In their classrooms, they have been observed to sit and have a relaxed and amiable conversation with whoever happens to be around them rather than seeking out their own group. No one is outside their circle, and they freely connect with anyone and everyone.

The Rita Grohman award recipients from the Class of 2017 are:

Shane A.
Emma B.

Maesun D.

Cassidy E.

Fulcrum Foundation Young Professionals Group – Amici

For more than 150 years, Catholic schools in western Washington have maintained a tradition of academic excellence and faith formation. However, in recent years it has become increasingly difficult for these schools to meet their operating costs while remaining affordable, especially in economically struggling communities. The Fulcrum Foundation tackles these complex challenges by partnering with schools and families, providing new programs and key financial assistance that increase access to an excellent and faith filled Catholic education. Amici is the young professionals group dedicated to advancing Fulcrum’s mission through service and fundraising for Catholic schools, professional networking, and social activities.
