Community Lunch on Capitol Hill provides hot, nutritious meals and survival services to hundreds of homeless and low-income people of Seattle. We welcome them as our guests in an atmosphere of hospitality, comfort and support. By sharing meals four times each week, we create community together. Meals are open to all, and no sign-in is required.
St. Francis of Assisi School has been supporting Community Lunch on Capitol Hill for over 15 years with middle school students traveling downtown each week during the school year. Our students help prepare lunch, serve, and clean up every Tuesday.
We've collected necessary items ranging from socks and blankets to clothing and personal hygiene items. This month we are collecting dental items -- you are welcome to drop your donations off at the school office.
