Parents' Association

The Parents' Association (PA) is the collective title for all parents or guardians of current St. Francis students.  Every parent or guardian of a child enrolled at St. Francis is already a member.

Purpose
The PA plays an important role at St. Francis.  Here are our core initiatives:
  • Improve communication between the school, parents, students, and surrounding community
  • Establish and run supplemental school funding programs
  • Promote and coordinate volunteerism
  • Encourage parental involvement
  • Develop goals to ensure an association that is both facilitative and visionary in nature
Activities
We have a number of parents heading up some really exciting projects and services.  Here are some examples:

After School Clubs (Monika Scoville)
Monika coordinates a plethora of entertaining, educational after school activities for the kids. If you’d like to start a club or lead an activity, get in touch with her at [email protected]. You can check out schedules and clubs on our After School Club page

Auction Events (Amy Rosenfield and Diana Leppa)
Amy and Diana… These ladies know how to throw an auction party! And all the proceeds from these parties go to a great cause: The care and education of your kids.  Learn more about the upcoming auction event on our Spirit Auction page (linked).  Or contact them at [email protected].

Communications (Andrea Reay)
Facebook, Instagram, and other media platforms?  Andrea does a great job keeping us all informed.  Find our school Facebook page here and our private Parents group here.  Follow us on the school Instagram here.  Social media questions or for help with posting email Andrea at [email protected]

Teacher Appreciation (Caroline Toy and Jamie Knowles)
Without the teachers and the wonderful work they do, there would be no St. Francis school.  Nobody appreciates this more than Caroline and Jamie, who, every month, coordinate events to show our teachers just how much we appreciate their amazing work.  If you'd like to contribute, please click our link here.

Harvest Festival (Jenn Loiselle)
This one is a family favorite!  Every year, the PA helps coordinate the Harvest Festival full of games, activities, food, and beverages that are a hit with the entire family.  To learn more contact the committee at [email protected]

St Francis of Assisi Holiday Fair (Lisa Martinson and Monika Scoville)
Get the holiday spirit and put a dent in your shopping list at this whole community event.  With a wide range of vendors there is something for everyone.  Need information or want to reserve a spot?  Please contact [email protected].

Of course, there are many, many more examples of wonderful people stepping up to make our school even better.  Keep up to date by subscribing to our calendar here.
